Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations Non-Government Schools

This course is for Casual Relief staff (CRTs) without access to the Catholic, independent and Government schools learning management systems.

This training is designed to support education workforces to respond effectively to children whose safety, health or wellbeing may be at risk of abuse. Specifically, the module covers:

• your obligations
• role and responsibilities
• how to identify child abuse
• 4 Critical Actions for Schools: Responding to Incidents and Disclosures and Suspicions of Child Abuse
• responding to other concerns about the wellbeing of a child information sharing and privacy.

*Please note: This training is for staff working in Victorian non-government schools. If you work in an early childhood setting, please complete the relevant training here.
